For many people, it’s hard to imagine not having a loving family. Unfortunately for hundreds of children, that is the reality. Children enter the care system for lots of reason, but primarily because their needs aren’t being met.

 

Being in foster care is often a lonely experience. Children are not only separated from their parents, they often feel alone in their experiences. If you can offer a stable loving home it could change a child’s life.

To become a foster carer isn’t as restrictive as one might think. Applicants can be married or single; male or female; unemployed, employed or retired. Applications are welcomed from people of every ethnicity culture or religion. Either home owners or tenants can also apply.

 

Every applicant is considered on an individual basis, but must have a genuine drive to work with young people.
